One final thought-I was on automatic pilot and almost went in to check the status of the waiting list when I suddenly remembered-our wait is over! I will have to check the forum periodically just for some facts and ideas, but my mad obsession just may be over.

Hi Sherri - it's me, Shari! Remember me, the proud Grandma of Ethiopian-born, little Kaleah (and of course, Izzy, too!)? I was so very excited to read Courtney's post on the forum today. I actually started to cry! You're a Grandma!!! I just want to reach out and give you a great big hug! Isn't it amazing to look into those big brown eyes (even though its just a photo) and feel this overwhelming connection and love for a child that you haven't yet met? I can't wait until we can share "Grandma stories" (Kaleah is only 4 months older than Tezhita!) Now there's no more reason for those "funks" of yours anymore - you've got shopping to do girl!!! Congratulations from the bottom of my heart!
