We had a near perfect Sunday around here today. Not only was the weather absolutely perfect, but we had so much fun with Tizita today. First we started our morning by watching some cartoons all snuggled up in the comfy chair right in front of the TV. We did all go to church then.
We were bound and determined to teach Tizita to jump rope. She is at that age where one needs to master the fine art of jumping rope, so we decided today was the day. I gave her a few pointers. After all, I have taught quite a few children to jump rope over the years.
After a few attempts, she had it down and she made it to ten without a miss so we figured she knew what she was doing.
Auntie Alissa showed us how it is done, too.
Grandpa and Tizita enjoyed a root beer and a deep discussion after the jump rope session.
After lunch it was time to set up the hair styling salon. It took both Courtney and Tizita to work together to get it styled just right.
Alissa left for Bloomington, always sad to see her go, but happy to have had such a great weekend. John and I tookTizita to the park. We pretended to be princesses in the castle tower while John was the prince.
Tizita showed us how well she can do the monkey bars.
We taught her how to do a flip on the bar, too. Jumping rope and flips all in one day. Success all the way around, I would say.
Tomorrow, I will continue my step into the past.
