Last Friday, Alissa and Nathan came out to celebrate his birthday with us.
Courtney brought the girls out on Friday, too.
We opened the goody box and then headed to Biggs for dinner and beers.
The girls and GIGI came home after dinner while the rest of us went to the new bar, The Drafty Cellar.
It was a great night and I know Nathan loved his celebration.
On Saturday, Alissa and Nathan headed into Milwaukee to see the Van Auken home and then the four of them went to Lake Mills to have a sister/cousin outing with Mallory.
According to all reports, it was a fun sucessful outing.
While they were having their outing, we took the girls to the zoo.
We rode the zoo mobile, the train, the merry go round, saw the sea lion show, did the rope course and rode the sky glider. In the midst of all this we did manage to see a few animals.
It was a fun day for sure.
We had planned to stay in a motel for one last hurrah of summer, but I had mistakenly made the reservation on the wrong night so there was no room available to us.
We tried every motel between there and Watertown and all were filled so we came home, watched movies, and had a fun night.
On Sunday we took the girls to Stonefire Pizza where they did the ninja course and played many arcade games. We had a great buffet.
Spent four hours there and much money but it was a great time
We took the girls home to Milwaukee and returned home to relax.
