Meet our resident woodpecker. He lives in our big old maple tree. We hear him pecking away anytime we are outside. He is a persistent little fellow, pecking away at what seems to be an endless job. I wonder if he gets rewarded with tasty little bugs. I hope he is happy up there in our tree because I would miss him if he decides to move on.
