On Saturday we all took a trip in to the Care Center to Brookfield to visit John's dad, Pops. The only one missing was Nathan, he had too much school work to do and could not join us for the weekend. We missed having him around, but I digress.
Tizita is a great Nursing home visitor. She walks around like she owns the place, uses the vending machines freely, and flashes her huge smile at everyone. One of the nurse's was chatting with her and was telling her what a gift she (Tiz) was to the people who live there. She told Tiz that they so seldom get to see little children and it makes them all so happy when they do get to see one. I figure her cute, outgoing personality help with that, too.
Visiting parents in a nursing home is never easy, but it is something we have to do and it is never as bad as we imagined it would be once we are there.
