A Wonderful 4th Tiziversary celebration

This past weekend, we celebrated our 4th Tiziversary and it was a joyous celebration.
It was the 4th anniversary or Tiziversary, if you will, of the day we first met our precious granddaughter, Tizita.
Our weekend started out with these two little ladies having lunch with us on Saturday.
After lunch Courtney, Tiz, and I went to the city wide rummages and found more than a few treasures.
Soliana found a special spot under the dining room table
 and in a small box.
The cute outfit she is wearing under the table is from my good friend, Lynne.
It fits her perfectly and she looks so good in bright pink.
Thanks Lynne.
Tiz had to see if she could fit into the box, too, and she did!
We left around 4:30 to have dinner at the Ethiopian Restaurant in Milwaukee.
This has become a tradition for us to go there and enjoy a typical Ethiopian meal.
 Tizita enjoyed her mango juice.
This is the yummy food and the injera (sour dough tortilla type bread).
One uses the injera to scoop up the food.
There are lentils, lamb, beef, a chicken dish, and potatoes and carrots included in the meal.
 Tizita loved the hot lentils.
 Soliana enjoyed the injera.
Tiz took this picture by setting up the timer on my camera.
I think she did a fine job.
She is wearing one of her very pretty dresses from Ethiopia.  It is such a beautiful dress.
On Sunday morning, Tiz had breakfast with her doll.
She helped me set the Barbie table for her party.
Tiz loved the Barbie cake that I made for her.
I will do a separate post on that cake making adventure soon.
I do think the end product was very nice.
There were party horns to help with the celebration.
Tiz was able to cut her cake and she did a fine job of it.
We played a few games at our party, too.
It was a wonderful weekend and a very fun way to celebrate our Tizita.
Happy Tiziversity, Tizita!
