Soo Locks and Canada

Yesterday on a cool, jean/sweatshirt kind of day we went to the Soo Locks and drove into Canada for dinner.
The best part of the day was making so many memories with Tizita.
I know she will remember this adventure for a long time.
We viewed two freighters from the viewing deck as they passed through the locks, then we ate at Burger King  followed by a three hour tour on a boat that took us through the locks two times.
The tour was actually supposed to be on an hour and half, but the locks were so busy that we had to wait for one to open so we could go through and that added extra time to our trip.
It was all good because they sold food on the boat and Tiz met a little friend.
After our boat tour, we crossed the  border into Canada.
Visited the travel info area and ate dinner at Boston Pizza.
It was a fun trip across the border.
We did need our passports and a note of permission from Tiz's parents which we did have!  Phew.
Here are some pictures from our day

Today, Courtney, Paul, and Soliana will join us here in Michigan for some more adventures.
I just want to wish our sweet Sunshine, Soliana a very happy third birthday today!
Can't wait to celebrate with her here.
