Here are two dollies just waiting for Tizita to give them a ride in their strollers. I think all her dolls so far have brown skin so we will see how she reacts to the white baby doll.
The kitchen is all set up and ready for Tizita to begin cooking and serving us. This kitchen belonged to Mallory. She got it for her second Christmas just after turning two. It was quite the Christmas Eve. She also got a bunch of food to go with the kitchen and Alissa couldn't get enough of the scrambled eggs. She kept pretending that she was puking them up and Mallory would laugh and laugh. We don't have a lot of tapes from the girls' growing up years, but that night is on tape. Mallory would say, "What matter with Issa?" I think we were all thinking, What is the matter with Alissa! It may have been the same Christmas Eve that I wore a drummer man suit and John made some potent Old Fashions. Really, "What can go wrong with an Old Fashion?"
This same kitchen spent a few years at Mary Linsmeier School and at St. John's where many, many children had fun with it. Meghan and her twin brothers have also used the kitchen when they come to visit. Now I am so excited for Tizita to have her time in the kitchen. We just need to find some scrambled eggs
Hurry up and get here, Tizita!

I laughed out loud when you wrote the "What is wrong with Alissa?" Loved it! I can picture her pretending to puke up scrambled eggs for a two year old. Hope you enjoy the visit with Tizzy.
Sherri! No new blog yet I am disappointed...
