A shout out to all my new readers and you know who you are!

When I sent out my Christmas cards and picture this year, I included my blogspot address so I am hoping that a few more of my friends and family find their way over here to visit. If you are coming over for the first time, "Welcome and I hope you enjoy your visit." This blog started in May of 2007 as a way for me to journal my feelings while I waited for my grandchild(ren) to arrive from Ethiopia. I wanted to have a memento of all the mixed emotions I had during the wait. On Sept. 12 after Tizita arrived home the focus changed documenting our visits with her and keeping track of her many milestones. Now since we don't visit as often I am beginning to add some random thoughts about other areas of my life. Not quite as interesting perhaps, but I hope they will be something my great, great grandchildren might want to read someday and just perhaps, you will learn something new about me or just enjoy a laugh. (Althougb I am not a very humorous writer) So sit back, relax, and travel back in time with me Thank you for visiting and come often.
